Building wealth can be challenging for some, particularly if you don’t have the right tools.

Putting time in to your own development to grow will allow you to achieve higher levels of success.

If you do these 3 things you will experience a level of growth you’ve never experience before.

THE 3 PILLARS OF WEALTH SUCCESS

⇛ MINDSET

The greatest asset you will develop is your mindset but what is mindset you ask?  A simple idea discovered by world-renowned Standford University psychologist Carol Dweck in decades of research on achievement and success – a simple idea that makes all the difference.

A mindset is a set of assumptions, methods or notations held by one or more people or groups of people.

A mindset can also be seen as incident of a person’s world view or philosophy of life.

There are two forms of mindset:

  1. Fixed Mindset: People believe their basic qualities like their intelligence or talent are fixed traits. They spend their time documenting their intelligence or talent instead of developing them. Also believe that talent alone creates success, without effort.
  2. Growth Mindset: People believe that their most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work. That brains and talent are just the starting point. They love to learn and their resilience is essential for great accomplishment.  Most successful people display these qualities.

The six inches between your ears are your best real estate! You don’t have to be good looking or smart – just willing to develop your mind as it will help you achieve great success.

What’s the best way to get started with your growth mindset revolution?  One way is to identify where you may have fixed mindset tendencies so that you can work to become more growth minded.

⇛ PLANNING

Your ability to execute on the things that will have you achieve your goals is key:

  • Know What Is Important: What are your goals? What do you value? Where do you see yourself in your retirement? What does life look like for you in the future? Are there things you want for your kids, for yourself, for others? Do you want to help your church, your community, your parents?
  • Get Rid of Distractions: Distractions take up about a third of your day which can dramatically reduce your success. Simply recognise your current distractions and remove them from your day (or at least work on reducing them).  Time is a precious resource and we often forget how important this is to us. Every minute you invest has to be conscious – could it be time spent with your kids, doing a hobby you enjoy or with someone you love?  When you’re lying there on your death bed will you regret all those extra hours in the office or the time you spent scrolling through Facebook? My time is not only structured but it is also protected and because of this I can fit more in to my week than before.
  • Schedule It Done: Understand what is important to you and then put it in your planner or calendar. Schedule it done! If it’s in my planner then it will get done but if it’s not, it quite often doesn’t.

⇛ EXECUTION

Is the carrying out of a plan, order, or course of action. Focus on things that will give you an outcome rather than those things which will just keep you busy.

Have a strategic plan but then you must also have a tactical plan, which is practical.

How committed are you to the things that are important to you?

My suggestion… sit down and determine what it is that is important to you, plan out the steps needed to hit that goal and then schedule it in to your planner.

If you need a neurological hack: Say these 3 things to yourself…..This is simple, This is easy, This is fun! Repeat.
